There’s such power in the ability to change and sometimes we just need a partner to join us on the journey.
I have had to figure out how to “get comfortable” in lots of different scenarios, with lots of different people, and in lots of different settings.
I’ve spent more than a decade studying, managing, and leading change in organizations, across systems and through people development. Add that to my lifetime of learning to navigate my own successes and challenges…as the fifth of six children in a blended, military family that lived overseas twice…to 20+ years of experience in the for-profit, non-profit, and education sectors…to earning dual Master’s degrees while discovering who I am as a wife and a mother.
Figuring it out, adapting to change, and helping others as I help myself are my God-given, practice-honed, and time-tested superpowers.
I have built a reputation as a leader who can forge success where others have failed. Although there are few ways to guarantee exact outcomes, I know that we create our outcomes through our intentions and our ability to navigate change with grace.
It took me a while to realize it, but coaching is what I’ve always done and, thankfully, it’s what I love to do.
Close your eyes and see yourself making the changes you want. Can you see it? If you can, great – let me help you make a plan and stick to it. If you can’t, that’s okay. Getting a clear picture can be part of our work.
Every change starts with a choice. Contact me for a free 45-minute consultation. Choose your change.
In general, I advise starting with a consultation to see if the vibe between coach and potential client is present. Yes, I know “vibe” is a very subjective term but I believe that our bodies know things often before our minds do and, as a result, I think it’s wise to have an interaction before committing to a relationship.
Once it’s established that a coaching relationship is desired, the first session will be spent getting clearer on a client’s goals. In some cases, helping clients get clearer about what they want is the work – and once that’s clear, they’re off to the races!
A coaching session with a client:
• Will always include a review of successes or slips since the last session.
• Might include the introduction of an assessment, model, tools, or strategies applicable to the defined goals.
• Often includes processing a recent experience to glean learnings.
• Will always include an agreed-upon mini-goal to be worked on between the current and next session.
Coaching is a very individual experience where no two clients, goals, or paces are the exact same.
Given that, it’s tough to put a specific timeframe on how long a relationship might last. However, I have created packages that are designed to help clients reach the place where they can continue on their own or even get to full resolution of their need.
Given the current state of affairs, virtual sessions are preferred, but in-person sessions can be arranged.
All coaching packages include unlimited email and phone support. Once the engagement/package has concluded, all clients will have the option to continue email and phone support for a small fee or purchase additional coaching hours at a preferred client rate.
